其最大特点是经线与纬线的交叉点不弯曲，各自处于平直状态。用捆绑线将两者捆扎牢固，可全面较均匀同步，承受外力，分布应力，且当施加的外力撕裂材料的瞬时，纱线会沿初裂口拥集，增加抗撕裂强度。
